Foretell Wanderlove Book 2 eBook Belle Malory

Foretell carries on where Wanderlove left off, for the most part, but the story is now told from a different perspective. Readers are now taken into the thoughts and experiences of The Oracle, otherwise known as Estelle.

Estelle first learned of her curse shortly after her father's death. She'd always known her ability could be dangerous in the wrong hands. In fact, her own mother and sister have fully abused her abilities to obtain wealth and fame. But it wasn't until meeting Lola, Rex and Gabe that Estelle realized just how much danger she and the world could be in because of her ability. She also learns that gypsies from all over the world are hunting for her, trying to find her so that they can use her abilities for their own gain.

After earning the trust of Estelle, Lola, Gabe and Rex take Estelle to safety, but that safety is soon compromised when Estelle decides to try and break the curse. This journey will lead her to love, heartbreak, and even to the brink of death. Will she break the curse or will she forever serve evil people?

Again, I am fully wowed by Belle Mallory's story. Something about her writing just captivates me. It's so real to me, as if the whole gypsy world, the curse of the Oracle and the reincarnation of gypsy souls truly does exist. I also find myself fully engrossed in her stories. The writing flows so easily, so beautifully. The characters wonderfully created. I love how they seem so much like real people.

All in all, I'm a little sad that there probably won't be another book in the Wanderlove series. (Although who knows except Ms. Mallory.) Nothing has changed for me. I am a dedicated Belle Mallory fan and look forward to reading anything she writes in the future. A huge thank you to the author for creating a story that will forever stay with me. I am certain I will read both books again sometime in the future.

Foretell Wanderlove Book 2 eBook Belle Malory Reviews

This book is the sequel to "Wanderlove" but instead of continuing to follow Lola and Gabe, we now follow the "Oracle" that was mentioned in the last book. To give you some background info if you haven't read "Wanderlove," Lola is a Gypsy whose memory was tampered with in order to keep some information hidden within her seek. Lola ultimately discovers she's is indeed a Gypsy and starts to remember her past lives the more she interacts with a love from a previous lifetime, Gabe. After finally regaining the memories of her past lives, she wakes up one morning with the news that she knows where the Oracle is. The Oracle being something she was never supposed to remember as it holds the key to basically destroying the world.

That's where Foretell picks up. Estelle "Essie" is living in California with her mom and pop star sister. Essie has the ability to tell people how to get what they desire most, just by touching her. Essie's lived her life secluded, and is used by her mom and sister in order to keep up their famous, celebrity lifestyle. But that all changes when she meets a group of Gypsies who tell her she is in grave danger and must leave everything behind, which isn't hard for Essie to do. She finally starts to feel free, and independent, but other groups are out there, tracking her mind, and willing to do whatever it takes to get to Essie.

Sometimes it's hard to read a sequel where the story picks up with two minor characters from the first book. I often find myself wishing the author would instead continue with the previous story. That's not the case with this book. Although I really loved Lola and Gabe, they story was fairly complete in the last book, and they are a big part of this book as well. It's actually refreshing to read about a two very different people, and their own unique "love" story. Rex, Gabe's brother, is very rough around the edges and it's fun to see Essie pick him apart.

I would definitely recommend this book. Reading "Wanderlove" isn't a must, but it would make it easier to understand the story line, especially certain things about Gypsy culture.
I don't remember loving the first book of the saga as much as Foretell . The sad part is that, and I'm ashamed to admit, that I remember nothing from the first book. Yup, that's right, nothing, nada, rien. I'm sure that I bought this book, it's in my library and everything, but i just don't remember the plot and the characters, etc. So first I thought these two books had no connection whatsoever, but then I read the book description of the first book, Wanderlove, and noticed that the main characters in that book were the less important ones in the second book.

Estelle has this 'curse'. Every time someone touches her and asks her a question, she immediately tells them the answer. Her little sister (Irene, stagename Indie), and her mother Rachel constantly use her for the benefit of Indie. In the first chapter, her mom chases her all the way to the rooftop and asks her where her sister can get a very expensive dress for free. Estelle tells her mother a phone number where they can get the dress for free, and Indie, instead of thanking her sister, says "Oh my God, thank you mommy." Now, I get that that drives people crazy, and we learn that Estelle isn't very fond of both of them. When she goes into a cafe, she sees Lola, Gabe (main characters from Wanderlove) and Rex. She learns that she is some kind of 'Oracle' and that she is in danger and that these people are gypsies trying to help her. Estelle immediately leaves her house and everything she's known.

Estelle is a strong character, even though she sometimes fails. I really liked her, and I could connect with her easily because the story was written in the first person, with her point of view. She, unlike the other female characters, deny's her feelings for Rex at first, but then she tells him how she feels and how he will one day have feelings for her, too.

Rex Constantin, oh my God. Where do I even start? He's the 'jackass' (not my words, Estelle's) and the annoying and cold boy/man who keeps making you mad. In the beginning of the book, when all of them are in a train, getting away from Estelle's house, he and Estelle have this I-can-profile-you-in-seconds 'game'. Estelle tells him how he is broken because of a girl, and because of that, he sleeps with every girl who accepts him, and uses them as a one-night-stand, thinking of the girl who has broken his heart as he plays his games with others. So, conclusion, he is a heartbreaker. When Estelle confesses her feelings, he gets mad at her, yelling at her to stop the way she is feeling for him. Ha, as if she can stop when neither the reader can stop. So, definitely a heartbreaker and a heartthrob. *Sigh*.

Foretell is one of those book who kind of start on one setting, and finish on another completely different setting, if you know what I mean. Also, I think it's a bit very 'happy ending', and I never would have guessed it. I mean, it's not that bizarre, but it could have been better, because first, you find yourself in Estelle's house, and then you are in a camp full of gypsies and then you find yourself in a totally different place and so on and so on. So, if there were any disappointments, it was that.

Overall, a great book, which will keep you from sleeping at night. I recommend you read this book where no on can see you at any point because I'm sure at some point of the book you'll have wet eyes, or big stupid grins, or even a what's-wrong-with-him face. You're going to fall in love with the characters in a matter of time before you open the book. Looking forward for the next book in the Saga!.. Although I don't think I'll be very happy knowing that maybe Estelle and Rex aren't going to be the main characters on the next book.
